Giant click beetle, Oxynopterus candezei Fleutiaux, 1927, of Sarawak/Borneo around 1000m ASL
Oxynopterus candezei is a large, elongate click beetle (Elateridae) from Southeast Asian rainforests, especially Borneo. Males have strongly pectinate antennae, and adults can exceed 60 mm in length. The larvae are predatory, primarily feeding on termites.
