unknown Caterpillar, Papilio sp. (Papilio protenor Cramer, 1775 (?) ), West Sarawak, 150m ASL Mimicking snakes help the caterpillars to ward off predators, specifically birds – This Papilio sp. (Papilio protenor?) is doing exactly this, to protect themselves from being eaten.
