Gymnosiphon aphyllus and Sciaphilla spec. of central Sarawak / Borneo

In this picture we can see two myco-heterotrophic plants, those plants are known for a symbiotic relationship between certain kinds of fungi, in which the plant gets all or part of its food from parasitism upon fungi rather than from photosynthesis. In the middle of the picture is a fruiting Gymnosiphon aphyllus and in the right your can see a „reddish“ species of Sciaphilla spec.
